Arunachal Pradesh
‘The Land of Dawnlit Mountains’, The Sunshine State’, Arunachal Pradesh is known by plenty of idyllic sounding monikers. Appearing as a giant patch of green on a map of India, it is one of the country’s least explored, but most beautiful states. Its 26 indigenous tribal communities can be determined by their clothing, traditional tattoos, piercings, and striking jewellery. Ensconced by densely forested hills, culminating in snow-capped peaks along the Tibetan border. Enjoying a pleasant climate throughout the year, the best time to visit is between October and April.
